Finster, a Word I Heard on the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show

Finster began life on a farm near Bellaire, Ohio. I was the news director at WOMP in Bellaire/Wheeling and a co-worker's wife thought that I should have a cat. The result was a kitten from her family's farm. I called her Finster.

I had a flash unit that had to be plugged in and I was taking pictures of my new kitty when I moved the power cord just as I clicked the shutter. It seems to have startled her.

She came with us when we moved to the Columbus area, along with another cat I had been gifted while living in St Clairsville.

Whenever I was out of town, Finster thought she should come along.

Finster enjoyed going outside, but never showed any interest in leaving the yard.

She enjoyed hanging around with Kiley, the friendliest cat ever made.

Although occasionally the got into a bit of a kerfuffle.
